BioHeat® is the next big thing in home heating! This exciting new Oilheat innovation is biodegradable, renewable and is a combination of heating oil and soybean oil, which makes it "green"!
As of right now, some Woodfin customers are testing our B5 blend (5% biodiesel/95% heating oil) - so if you are interested in being part of our test program, give us a call today!
BioHeat is not only good for your heating system, the environment, and America, but Virginia, too!
Heating your home with BioHeat yields many benefits:
Domestically grown, it supports American agriculture and limits the amount of oil we import from foreign countries.
It burns cleaner than regular Oilheat, reducing emissions that are known to contribute to global warming and air pollution.
It extends the life of your system.
With the highest BTU content of any fuel, you can rely on BioHeat for extremely satisfying warmth.
No modifications are required to be made to your heating system; and it is delivered the same way regular heating oil is delivered to your home.
Costing about the same as Oilheat, BioHeat isn't more expensive.
Woodfin uses biodiesel produced from Virginia soybeans - every $1,000 of Virginia biofuels creates $2,000 - $3,000 of economic activity in our state.

BioHeat is not a replacement for heating oil. It is another component that makes today's Oilheat even better!
On October 25, 2006, at our Varina Pit Stop and WatchCard location, Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell was part of our ribbon cutting ceremony to promote the use of biofuels in Virginia. Woodfin is the first distributor of biofuel in the Metro Richmond area!
We at Woodfin are thrilled to be able to offer our customers BioHeat, so call us, or contact us for more information!
